This animation reproduce the read out of an Skipper-CCD. In the last step, the charge in the Sense Node can be measured repeatedly in a non-destructive way. The number of electron produced by incident radiation in this animation corresponds to the one produced by the X-rays emitted by an ⁵⁵Fe radiactive source (see arXiv:2004.11499 for further details).
